🌟Your portfolio can begin with the following assignments:
- One-word Metaphor. It can be a memory bubble, or episodic scene about an event or person. An object, symbol, image, dream. The example in class was the feather from the film Forest Gump.
- Write an I Am Metaphor Poem
- Compose a Six-Word Memoir using vivid description
- List the awe moments of your life
🌟Write a short vignette of a special landscape. Where are you? Then add this and rewrite your awe narrative into story form.
🌟Write your personal credo. What do you believe?
The final touch to your Awe Narrative:🌟Combine all these elements into a fully developed story. Aim for 500 words or more.
🌟What is the shape of your story? Episodic form: try using mosaic writing. 🌟 Give it a catchy title. 🌟Optional: insert images into your document. 🌟Print your document. Bring it to the next class. |
